Due to the nature of Pole Sabz and the fact that it is a public platform unlike Facebook and similar sites following the site Policies are essential to ensure the site’s quality. The following are Policies that every member should follow. Some of these policies are subject to change as the site grows and evolves.

Policies

• Respect All members are free to post anything they want as long as the content of posts, pictures or videos do not offend other members of the site. We encourage free speech but we believe respectful behavior is above free speech. There are many ways to express thoughts without disrespecting others.

• Follow Copyright Laws All members are responsible for the material they post on Pole Sabz. Please make sure the content you are posting on Pole Sabz is not violating copy right laws. If you are referencing a material always mention the source of the material.

• Use Proper Language All members should do their best to use proper grammar and make sure they have checked their material for spelling errors. Making a mistake is not a violation of our policies however deliberate spelling or grammar errors go against the spirit of the site. Pole Sabz encourages members to learn proper online manners as cyber world is slowly becoming part of our daily lives. This site is about providing quality materials to visitors. Those who translate their materials need not worry about making mistakes however we expect other members to respectfully help them correct their mistakes. By helping each other members increase the value of their posted materials and at the same time learn the proper usage of the language.

• No Repeated Material Members are allowed to both blog and collect other articles on Pole Sabz. If you are blogging you need to make sure you don’t post a blog more than once and if you are collecting articles you need to make sure no one else has collected that article before. Repeated materials bring the quality of Pole Sabz down and make it difficult to find useful information on Pole Sabz.

• Collaboration not Intimidation We expect members to collaborate with each other not to form an online gang to intimidate other members or prevent them from expressing their views. Such behavior will be investigated and if found true will lead to permanent suspension of the accounts.

• Business not Scam Businesses are allowed to post materials regarding their business practices. These practices should be legitimate and follow the codes of ethics. If found to be otherwise it will lead to permanent suspension of the account.

• Keep Excerpts clean Members are allowed to write their own excerpts rather than having the system auto generate one for their blog posts. Excerpts must include text only. Avoid inserting pictures,videos, audio files and links inside your post excerpts. Inserting anything other than text slows down the public repository and becomes very distracting making it difficult for readers to find the article they are looking for.

Violations

Any member that violates the site policies will be dealt with according to the type of violation. Minor or first time violation will receive a friendly warning from the administration staff with details of the violation and how the user should act to prevent further violations. Repeated violations, discrimination or direct disrespect to other members will result in temporary account suspension and possible drop in credit score. Repeated violations in a short time span, intimidation or scam will result in permanent account suspension and all posts from the member will get deleted from the system. We will not be monitoring all member activities instead we leave it to the members themselves. It’s everyone’s responsibility to report violation of the site policies. However we wish that members can resolve their differences on their own and guide the violators to proper behavior.
