Runners who eschew shoes may be less likely to do serious injury to their feet, because they hold their feet differently, Daniel Lieberman of Harvard University in Cambridge, Massachusetts and colleagues found.
Writing in the journal Nature, they said runners who wear shoes tend to hit the ground with their heels first, whereas barefoot runners put the balls of the feet down first.
“People who don’t wear shoes when they run have an astonishingly different strike,” Lieberman said in a statement.

Five new planets have been found orbiting distant stars—the first confirmed new worlds from NASA’s recently launched Kepler space telescope mission, astronomers announced today.
Like many of the more than 400 exoplanets—planets outside our solar system—found to date, the new planets are so-called hot Jupiters. They’re about the same mass as Jupiter and orbit very close to their host stars, which makes the planets relatively easy to spot from Earth.

A couple of nights ago many people reported seeing a strange spiral shape light showing up over the Norwegian sky. There is also a video of the effect that shows a spiral that vanishes in a black hole effect.
Many people were alarmed by this phenomenal and believed it was some kind of UFO. However Russia has reported the strange phenomenal as a failed missile test.
